| NSW Men attack WA late in the game. |
NSW 20 and Under Women's and Men's teams successfully defended their title last weekend at SOPAC Homebush. Many Cronulla Sharks featured in both wins. The Women's team turned around a midweek result to account for Queensland 8-3. In this team were Shark's Maddi Schmid, Michaela Davies, Jess Brooks and Lena Mihailovic The Men's team also turned around a midweek result by coming from behind to defeat a very strong WA 9-8 . The Men's team was well represented by four Sharks players Nic Brooks, Sam Cocokios, Blake Buckley and Uga Mihailovic

There were many highlights during the week for the Sharks players but special mention goes to Maddi Schmid for being named MVP of the tournament. Besides scoring a bagful of goals including a hat trick in the final she played nearly every minute of every game inspiring her team mates by example. To top off the week Maddi was named in the Born '93 Australian Squad along with Michaela Davies and Jess Brooks to play in the Junior Worlds later this year. Sam Cocokios was also named in the Men's Born '93 Team. Congratulations Sharkies for doing your State and Club proud.
